End Sounds is having a 13th Anniversary show on Saturday 12/13/14 at Red 7 in Austin, Texas, USA. With the 13th-year anniversary of End Sounds, this will be the first time the label throws a wintertime show/bash. Friends of the label, current and former bands are slotted to play the event which is in the vein the label’s notoriously packed pre-SXSW show/parties. The Riverboat Gamblers (releasing a 7” and digital single series on End Sounds), Ume (longtime friends of the label and signed to Dangerbird Records), Red Animal War (reuniting for this show; members of the band went on to create films like FILMAGE: The Story of Descendents/ALL), Slowride (reuniting; features members of True Widow, The Queers, and Riverboat Gamblers), J. Charles and the Trainrobbers (playing with their original drummer Steve Visneau), Ghost Knife (members of J. Church), and new End Sounds signings Broken Gold and Gentlemen Rogues.

The Riverboat Gamblers will be releasing a 7 inch series on End Sounds! Super excited to share the news with you obviously as long time fans and friends! The first 7 inch is called Dead Roach and the B-Side is a cover of The Big Boys' "Sound on Sound."

We're going to be doing a few different things with the release with the introduction of Bitcoin Blue. 100 copies of the vinyl will be blue and the only way to get them is to purchase them with Bitcoin. More details are coming soon!

The Last are playing a 35th Anniversary show of their seminal L.A./Southern California/South Bay album L.A. Explosion this Friday, August 29th at Alex's Bar in Long Beach, California. The band will be playing songs from Danger then as much of L.A. Explosion as time permits (and in the order the songs appear on the album). Drag The River (featuring Chad Price from ALL and Jon Snodgrass from Armchair Martian), Joe Ginsberg, and Bordertown Saints will also be playing.

Gentlemen Rogues from Austin, Texas have signed with End Sounds.  The band will be making their European and UK debut this week with their first UK tour.  We've been big fans of the band for a while and are super excited to help them get their music into the world and into your hands and ears!

True Widow's Self-Titled album is being repressed in a limited edition cream vinyl for Record Store Day 2014.  There will only be 350 copies available to record stores and this is only the second pressing of the debut True Widow album ever. 

For the vinyl collectors: The release is audiophile grade 180 Gram Double 12" LP in cream vinyl. The artwork has a gatefold cover with two inserts, a matte finish throughout, and the artwork is also slightly different to the first pressing as the skull on the cover faces to the left instead of the right.
